I have a snow mpg max kit. I'm running in mpg max mode. I've got the injection started at 4 psi and max at 17 psi. I'm running the small nozzle on the pump side. It was working great but yesterday I was driving and I noticed white smoke and felt a bucking or like a dead miss. As soon as I did I turned of the system and all is well. I'm thinking my solenoid for the power stage it stuck open. Be causes if I stomp on it and turn it on it works great under boost. Any ideas.
IF the solenoid is physically stuck open, the system would cause a stumble until all of the water was run out of all the lines that it could. Have you tried adjusting settings on the controller to see if you can make the stumble go away?
Well after removing the power or big nozzle solenoid and checking it out. It was stuck open. So at a light load as soon as the pump started up it was spraying 100% causing smoke and quench.
