I had the VCS3D system and recently upgraded to the S4 and am happy with the changes Dan Labonte has incorporated. I haven't seen any one else with a write up so if you have the S4 chime in and let me know your likes and dislikes.
I have done the same change the s4 is awesome alot more dummy proof just calabrate nozzles and go. I have my gain set up on it. Seems to use main inj more and give more top boost. The only thing I have found with it is the egt degrees are bout 100 off from edge evolution at the peak and about 10 off at idle. I just set my max egt temp down to compensate. The one other thing is fluid level doesnt seem to tell the right fluid level you are at other than that it is pretty amazing.
Large, oversize (height/width) boats. Like pulling parachutes down the road. Based on your numbers, I would go through ~6 gallons per day, right? A 30 gallon tank and bulk tank mix at the home base would do the trick, I think...
I can t give you an excact mileage reading. I just know from pulling 6500lb fifth wheel I use 1/4 tank less than before going the same place and egts are in check main reason I bought this kit. Per fill up I average a 100 km more. This kit is definetly worth buying and it will pay for itself in no time. I couldnt be happier with this kit and especially the support from Dan at Labonte Motorsports.
