do you guys think my current set up will handle a water/meth setup with out tearin something up... my tranny is the weak link in my drive train what do you guys think?
Be reasonable with what settings you put the water meth system on and you should be fine. I like my Labonte Stage 3 since you can tell the in cab monitor what hp you are running and it will generate a specific injection table for your truck. Keep the water meth ratio 50/50 or weaker. IIRC I gained ~30rwhp using -20 blue windshield wiper fluid and 3-4 mpg.

With the windshield fluid I couldn't tell a power difference really but the mileage and egt difference were very noticeable. When I ran a 60-40 mix, there was a big difference in street manners, it ripped.
you think if i tune it sort of liberally then add the water/meth ill get away with it for a few months..... also where do you get the meth? and will any tap h2o work or do i need like distilled h20? (or some sort of totally clean h20)
I've got the Labonte kit and lets just say it's awesome. just recently got my truck dyno'd with a 50/50 mix and I put down an extra 71 rwhp with the two largest jet.. the M8 and M12 I believe they are. Dunbar said that was the largest gain he's ever seen with a water meth kit. I was happy.
you also want distilled water.. I think it's like 78cents a gallon at wal mart and you can get straight meth any where they sale propane.. I'm thinking it's like 5 bucks a gallon give or take where your located at. maybe even cheaper now.
as far as wanting to keep your trans alive with the meth kit.. just use a single smaller jet(s). Labonte gives you a chart on which to us with what hp level your running.
X2 - stick with distilled water(http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=295888) walmart just up'ed there price on it so my local Culligan is cheaper and no 1 gallon jugs to mess with. I should have the oil analysis back soon, but I think I'd be safe saying, I wouldnt run wws either
