Stock Allison and H&S tuning

I apologize if this question has been asked and answered but here goes anyway.
How safe would it be to run the "mild" or "wild" settings on the H&S programmer?
I do not race or beat on my truck. It is my daily driver and I regularly tow 6-8k with it. I had the Kennedy Diesel tow/performance tune (~70 hp)on my LBZ for ~132. It worked out great except for my TC started slipping just before I traded it in at 206k miles. Everyone said that it was a safe tune. I can't say for sure that the added power caused the slippage over time or if it would have happened anyway. I just don't want to run the risk of premaure tranny/TC wear if I can avoid it. I feel pretty safe with the "mild" tune but I just don't know about the "wild" tune. This thing need to last me 200-250k.

I would not be afraid to run that power through new trans. Time will tell but I abuse mine with hot tune and feels really strong compared to old 5 and 6 speeds I have had. Its all on how you drive it. Some people can wreak anything!
