Awesome, thanks for looking.

So if I buy a subscription to Tis2Web for 2/3 days am I able to download a bunch of software for different modules and store them on the tech2 card or on my PC for use later? Do they charge for each software download or only for the subscription?

Okay, thanks. I just picked up a nice tech2 and candi kit today. Everything checked out and it looks to be an original unit with correct date stamp, serial, etc. Should get here this weekend.

So if I understand this correctly, these are the steps involved:

Subscribe to acdelco tis2web 2 day, month, or whatever.
Download the latest software to the tech2
That's it, right?

From there I can download and install software for various modules until my subscription runs out, correct? I don`t have to pay for each software download do I?

Is downloading software for the modules pretty self explanatory? Enter a VIN and I will get a list of options for various modules to download?

Which subscription do I need to update the tech2 and download module software?

Thanks

Guy had it on eBay and it did not sell for his asking price. After some haggling we finally agreed on $1200 shipped to me. It comes with the 32.008 software for GM which is one update shy of the latest I believe. Looks like there are no short term packages on ACDelco.com for software updates, only for calibrations. So if I want the newest software I will have to pick up a card from EBay. If I am mistaken about that please let me know.

I don't think anybody asked this and maybe not of interest, but i can confirm that I use Chinese MDI with Tech2win on my pc and can to everything except program. I can calibrate, ABS auto bleed, etc. I set it up several years ago and it took many many tries to get the correct versions of the software to work together. I don't do programming but it can be done with my setup using SPS and paying for 24 hrs access. I also have tis but was never able to get it to work with my setup. Initially thought it was the best of both worlds but didn't realize Tech2win does not support programming.
