Am I crazy?

Right now I am in the market for a new truck. I found a 2006 LBZ sierra 2500 SLT loaded with everything. It has 100,000 miles, new tires, stock, the rocker panels and cab corners with new steel, the fuel lines have been replaced. Asking $25,000.. Is it just crazy to buy a 2006 for that kind of money and one that has 100k on it?
Robert

Mileage wise not bad but coming from the rust belt and how long will the rockers go this time? Sorry,I just get so bent when the word rust comes up.

That's top end price, IMHO. And as stated, rust could be an issue. One of the places to look is the cross rails under the bed. Mine were pretty rusty when I sold it last year, and it had fewer miles and less winter driving.

LBZ trucks are still bringing money compared to the LB7 and LLY mostly because of pre-DPF and higher HP. It's hard to find one around here for under $20K that's not full of miles.
