Edge Insight CS or CTS Digital Monitor

Thanks Rodney! Now another question about PIDs.I have an Actron CP 9575 scanner-reader with view data that reads PIDs sent out by the ECM but is not picking the PID VGT_A_ACT,B_ACT which is turbo vane position. The manual for the Actron has that PID listed and says it will read it if the vehicle ECM supports it.I wonder why the ECM is not sending it out to the scanner.Would I have the same problem with the Edge Insight or is the problem with my scanner? The scanner picks up other PIDs.

I'm able to monitor it on my 2007 LBZ with the Edge CTS. Not sure why the Actron isn't picking it up.

When you want to monitor turbo vane position with the CTS do you have to choose the PID I have listed as VGT_ACT_,B_ACT ? I talked with a tech from ACTRON who said that the PID is a Global OBD2 pid and that GM must have an enhanced PID for turbo vane position that the Actron will not read!

I'll check tonight to see what the actual PID name is.

When I click on the CTS to add / update a new PID, the list of available PIDs to choose from shows as 'Turbo Vane Position' and then displays as VPOS on the PID.

Here's an old thread that I'm curious about. Has anyone figured out how to display the turbo vane position in torque pro?

Thanks in advance.
