Superchip Flashpaq ??

I picked up my superchip flashpaq today but it's way to cold to beat on it today so I am installing it tomorrow. I can't decide on which level to run it, level 2 produces 61hp @ 2100 rpm and level 3 produces 84hp @ 3350 rpm. Would level 3 be better on the trans as long as I watch the wot runs because the power is equally distributed over the entire power band rather then having the power and torque added at once? Thanks guys

I know you didn't mention level 1 but that might be the best one out of the three levels. Post #3 https://www.dieselplace.com/forum/sho...rchip+flashpaq You use to read alot about the defuel between shifts on the upper levels. https://www.dieselplace.com/forum/sho...uperchips+2805 more https://www.dieselplace.com/forum/sho...uperchips+2805 I think its the number one complaint with superchips is the rough shifting from there forum.

I run mine on 4, the mileage tune. just a hair less power than 5. Smoother operation all round and doesnt defuel as hard as on 5. Smokes way less also. Its says not to tow on this tune but I tow a 8000lb toyhauler and egt's are not a problem. Of course I'm not in the mountains just the hills of Mo. But it does great.

Well the superchip said it couldn't read my truck so I can't tune it. So I took it back to the dealer hoping that I can get my money back.

I ran mine on performance and the regular tow tune. Didnt notice any difference in mileage with it,if anything worse than on performance. Ive got a transgojr on my truck and never noticed any shifting problems, Actaully i think it shifted alot better than the bullydog that i tried.

Ran it on performance for like 40k miles with the transgojr and havent had any problems other than self inflicted, I think my torque converter is starting to slip under high loads from towing on the performance tune.

How was the smoke with the superchip? I've heard people say it's smoke less while others say it smokes all of the time. I am honestly hoping for a nice puff.

I would get a puff out the exhuast right when you hit it hard until the turbo lights and builds.
