Sled pull??!

Ok guys, I was talking with Edds04dmax today on the phone about sled pulling in the area. He told me about a few tracks that pulled but really weren't up to par other than oakboro. The prob is that they only pull 2wice a year. I am gonna try and contact ottpa which is a local tractor pulling association and see when their next pull is going to be and see if we can pull trucks there too! What I want to know is how many would be interested in doing this. I can' say what payout will be, if anything, or even what classes we will have. I will just have to see what trucks show up. I know for one I would like to start a 2wd class too for us not fortunate enough to have a 4x4. The guys with 4wheel drive would be welcome to enter too but of course would have to leave it in 2wd. To be honest untill we get a pretty good gathering you will prob only win a trophy or maybe a small purse that might cover your entry fee and maybe a little more. The more people we get to come the more the payout could be! Lets get a head count so I can let them know what kind of response there will be. Most of their pulls are around central NC. I know atleast 4 people here in Sanford would want to do it if not more! If you are a member of any other forum please post this. If you have any questions e-mail them to me at [email protected] . I am very seriouse about this and would love to get a following. Doughboy, and your buddy with the ferd better want to join in. If you are scared of breaking something then just pull in the 2wd class! Remember this is going to be mostly for the fun factor untill we start getting a bunch of people into it!

No I am having a hard time getting ahold of OTTPA. Apparently their web site is down or something. I am going to call a guy tomm that is heavy into the tractor pulling and see if he has a number to get ahold of them!
