Tech 2 Scanner

Hello,

I am in need of an airbag code ran on my truck. I am sure it's on of the front impact sensors (I have an 03, and yes I have 2), but I don't wanna dish out the cash for one and it not be the problem. I would love to borrow someones scanner, or just come to you to run the codes for me. If you could help me out I would really appreciate it. I am located in southern MD (20650) but will come to you if you are close enough.

Thanks!

Wish I could help, but I read on this forum that most dealers will scan them for around $100. I have not had mine scanned with a Tech 2 yet.

See, I dont wanna pay 100$ for a 2 min job. I am not looking to get my injectors checked, just wanna confirm why my airbag light is on. I would buy a new front sensor and try swapping it before I paid a dealer 100$ for 5 min (max) worth of work.

I know this will be more work, but if you buy one and swap it into one side and the light doesn't go away then the other one is bad. Just replace the bad one with the new one or good used one you just removed.

Sorry, best I can do to help.
