New (to us) truck...

My fiancee just bought an 03 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 duramax dually last night thanks to NAS Oceana having an auto sale. This is the first vehicle he has ever purchased that wasn't a dodge and he was a little reluctant doing it but we couldn't beat the price! Just thought I'd say hi.

I would take an 03 Chevy over a brand new Dodge any day of the week.

I have had both and I base my opinion on quality Ive seen.

Ive also had Ford, and as far as quality goes, its right up there with the GM products.

After driving the truck around today, we've both fallen in love with it. Going to finalize paperwork tomorrow. He's making the first venture on base with it now. Let's see how this goes...

He's already looking in to putting stacks and a new exhaust on it. We will be going up to Twisted Diesel this week sometime.

Pictures are attached. It was raining out when I took these earlier. It was late last night when we bought it. And it's was nasty out all day. But we just had to get pictures.

Hopefully the dealership comes through with the loan. We've been told they have but haven't seen the paperwork, and we've been driving the truck around since last night. And we still have the trade in truck. So we're pretty confident.

And we backed out.

After going to the dealership last night and the salesman adding in hidden costs and a COMPLETELY different interest rate, we determined the truck just wasn't worth it. It would've been fine at the original terms. But not at what they gave us last night. We're going to continue our hunt for the perfect diesel (Chevy or Dodge) and keep our gas truck for now.

Same here.
I looked at the new Camaro when the first hit the showroom.
Price on the window was 31k or close to it, I figured I would pay a few grand less than that. Got to the table and was ready to sign and give up the down payment and the sales man comes up with a number like 36k...

I say, hey, the sticker says 31, whats up with this 36, how did it get there?
he says, oh, we are adding 5 grand to the price because people are paying it.
Not me. And I walked out.

couple months later he calls back and wants to talk about selling me the new Camaro for sticker. I tell him 10 grand less than that because obviously people arent paying sticker for it anymore.
I dont think the salesman and I have a strong relationship.
I dont own a new Camaro, and he doesnt call me anymore. should I feel used?
