Its okay, I trust him with all the big work ;) he's the best in my book anyway! I've considered adding a pull but, would need some space.... thought about contacting tweetsie , they have plenty of room.... it may be somthing to think about!!!

I'm having trouble with that LBZ!!! its a pain!

What's wrong with the 'Z' ????......It heard the owner was real happy with it. ......maybe you're refering to a different LBZ??
You still got that dual-disc conv. ???

As far as the Z its been doing great! BUT day before yesterday i got a call saying it wouldnt spool ... drove it yesterday and it ran great in the morning but fired it back up yesterday evening and could get any fuel!
It was acting very erratic and bouncing. I was thinking it could be fuel delivery issues and gave dan a call to ask his opinion, We're going to do a relief valve test in the morning. It will hold 21,000lbs then fuel hard in spurts (about 25000lbs) and fall back quick! It has not thrown any codes so im not sure whats going on! Otherwise its doing very well! I think the lower boost numbers (30-35) are contributed to the intercooler!

How did the compression test go the other day? I've got a LB7 in the shop with a "tick" ive been afraid to fire it up yet! :o:

PS , I've still got that converter... Never put it in! Havent had time, Our work trucks dont stop long enough to get the oil changed, little yet major work! I'm thinking, im going to try and sell it, Considering I've got such a big buy in with SC i can just sell it and order a stage 3! I might end up putting it in, i dont know! let me know if you know anyone that might want it!

Lucas, I don't remember exactly what was done to that truck (for fuel upgrades) but I'm thinkin' he did not have a fuel tank pick-up assembly??? If not then that turbo set-up won't be able to 'do-it's-thang'!! What do you have for lift pump????
The rail pressure you are seeing is certainly lower than it should be and if it's jumpin' around, that sounds like supply issues. As far as the 'low' boost.....if you have a 'modest' tune in it, I wouldn't expect to see more than that (especially with fuel starvation). Throw a hot tune in there and those boost #'s will come up!!:D (providing that you get the fuel issue fixed).
My comp. test was a waste of time (again):mad:......we both are thinkin' that this is not the way to check for short rods........maybe good for finding ring-wear or the like. I'm gonna' have to lift the head. ARGHHH!!
I'll keep my ears open for the converter sale.

Ed, Did a Relief valve test with no fuel, went through all the basics and cant get the truck to act up again , Evidently its fixed... There was fuel on the rail relief hose so it appears it might have been part of the issues! Might just put a race valve in for giggles!

Its running a FASS 150/200 and its got a pickup 1/2 if i remember right!
Seems like its doing much better! I'll keep you posted and put your number in my book! Mine for records is 828-467-6509!

I did find a few small boost leaks which could contribute theoretically to the issue! I'll keep some testing going and keep ya informed!
