Out of state vehicle inspections

I need some information about the out of state vehicle inspections for Kentucky. I going to be moving into Kentucky soon and I need to know how in-depth the inspection of incoming vehicles is. I have recently replaced my downpipe on my truck an it doesn't match up with the stock exhaust. I want to replace the stocl exhaust with aftermarket stuff but I am afraid that the inspector may look under the truck a flip out. If I need to, I can put my stock downpipe back on temporarily. On other problem, the previous owner cut out the cat and welded in a straight pipe(sloppily). Do you think I should just get the exhaust done, especially becasue of the cat delete? I hope this is the right place for this question.
