Import mechanics

I know I know import... Listen guys my son is in the navy nuke program in ballston spa NY. He has a 2001 honda civic and hes starting to have trouble with the starting seems like a starter or something. Just put a new battery in it and seems ok he says it still sounds funny just looking or hoping one of my forum brothers would be able to point my son in the direction of a good reputable mechanic in the area. He doesn't have a lot of time as the program hes in is very demanding. Any help is appreciated thanks.
