Does anyone have any videos of the August 13th 1/8th mile shootout? I heard there were some very fast times with a 6.6 @ 102 winning the event..

Fast times were 6.88 @ 104.5 & 6.69 @ 102+ by Darren, he is the man to beat in PS. Hopefully NLDP or Buck get him sometime. Makes ya wonder what he will do if weight goes to 5000lbs.

Do you think anyone's considering going to 5,000 pounds? I'd have to to go ahead and put mine on a diet.. Mine's around 6200 now I believe..

I think they are considering the 5K weight for 2wd trucks only. Darren is at like 56-5700 now...... I could be wrong though...... Also I think a single and Nitrous will still be 6200.....But dont quote me on that.......

Last year it was a single and nitrous.. I believe this year you can run twins and nitrous, though you do have to be 6200 pounds instead of 5500.. If they give 2wd's a 5000 pound weigh in, then I wonder if they would make the weight of 2wd's with drugs go to 5700 pounds.. If not, I believe I would run the 5000 pound no drug class.. That would really put the 2wd's in the running..
Do yall know when we might hear a yes or no on possible new weight rules?

That makes sense Tim, I guess I read it wrong the first time. Just have to wait & see or maybe Eric can clear that up.

My bad..
