285/65R18 Trail Grapplers W/Liquid Metal Gatlin (PICS)

Here's a few quick shots of a fellow Discount Tire employee's truck for fitment purposes.

2006 2500:
Torsion bars turned up.
285/65R18 Nitto Trail Grappler
18x9 + 10mm Liquid Metal Gatlin

*Minor trimming to the bumper (shown in last picture)*

I'll add a few better pictures before the end of the week.

Pictures don't do these tires justice, if you see them up close they are very impressive.

Thanks for posting. I'm considering a similar setup, and it looks good! I have my front end fairly low though..... but I think the trimming that was done previously should suffice.

I like them both! Has anybody tired the tires? That is the first I've seen them.

18x9 + 10mm Liquid Metal Gatlin
Why do so many wheel manufacturers NOT publish load ratings on their wheels? Some of us actually use our trucks for more than groceries. This blatant lack of info just means those wheels aren't even a consideration.

These are load rated at 3415lbs per wheel.

I kinda thought that anything under 3400 lbs just wasnt even considered for our trucks....

Why would someone trimming to fit not take the time to follow the contour of the tire. Seems odd to me that someone would just hack an angle out of the plastic instead of taking time to make it more "un-noticable"

Odd....
