Fleece Cheetah VVT W/Controller on My LB7 Install

Well it's all coming together. The turbo is installed but you guys with LB7's doing this will have to modify your intake a little. We had to cut and weld it to reposition it. It was hitting the FPR. Tomorrow the up pipes and down pipe get installed along with the controller. I should be up and running but I need to find a vane sensor in order to drive the damn thing. Hopefully I find one quick or one arrives tomorrow morning
I've got pics and will have video. If all goes well I should be at the track to fine tune it.

Nick

so you're using an external unit to control the vane activity on the turbo?

If so, I am very interested with the idea of installing a VGT turbo on a nonVGT equipped vehicle. waiting.......

I know guys, believe me I know. I want this thing up and running just A's bad as you do. I took time off work just to be there to help. What I really need now though is that sensor. It's gonna kill me tomorrow having it all hooked up and not being able to use it.

Yes you have to contact Brayden Fleece for the controller. He just released this for us LB7 guys. With the unit you can run any VVT turbo in place of your IHI.

More info to come tomorrow...

Lol! Well it's 6:54 am an we're heading to breakfast then hitting up the truck. If there's no more snags I'll be good to go. Does anyone know where I can find that sensor besides the dealer? They want $630 cost for it!! I need one in order to make this all come together. Gonna keep looking this morning but it's hard to look for parts and help with the install. Wish me luck!
