well, its no diesel.... its not even an HD, but it is a GM, and its mine so I'm proud of what I have. What do you guys think of it?

Here is what you are looking at:

2006 Silverado 1500 4x4 LT, extended cab, short box (5'10"), silver birch metallic, 5.3L
-OEM LTZ Avalanche 20" wheels
-Z71 fender flares in textured black
-Front windows tinted 20%
-Entire windshield tinted 45% carbon tint
-AVS vent visors on front doors
-GoRhino light rack
-Code3 PSE LP6000 emergency lightbar
-Recon white lightning LED lightbar under tailgate (yes it turns white in reverse)
-GM chrome side steps
-Wilson 1000 magnetic CB radio antenna
-OEM taillights custom painted translucent black

Here is a list of things done that you cannot see:

-HID conversion kit in 4300K
-Homemade straight pipe exhaust from the cat-back (no muffler or silencer of any kind)
-HPTuners custom reflash
-K&N drop in filter
-160º thermostat
-Tekonsha brake controller
-Cobra 29 LTD Nightwatcher CB radio
-Custom made under-dash toggle switch mounts (laser cut the form, had a 60º brake put in it, then powdercoated black)

I think thats about it. In the future I would like to have a small lift, 3-4", and long tube headers with a catless y-pipe. I would also like to get a Line-X liner. What do you guys think?

The truck is pretty dirty. I see a spot of dirt next to the valve stem on the right front wheel.

last year and off and on this year I was escorting semi trucks with oversized loads. I've had the lightbar on there since september of 2006 so to me the truck would look weird without it.

I try to keep it as clean as possible. Hard to believe its already been driven 53,000 miles since september 2006 when I bought it

Nice, I was wondering what one would need that for, how does that gig pay always wondered about those guys?

pretty good. Anywhere from $1.00 to $2.00 per mile depending upon what company you work for and contract agreements....etc
