Good news and bad news. I got some better quality videos of first driving. Truck works very well 15 kilometers or so. Then power steering pump broke. I have to get new one, and maybe with stronger billet wheel.
All else was like dream, I had "break-in"tune, as Bob says, so we hadnt big power at all.
In cruising 40 miles/h there was 7-10psi boost, pushing pedal and immediately over 30 psi.
Max psi I saw was over 60, and big charger makes 35 psi in max this time, so it should be in level.
Funny thing was in cruising speeds partial throttle, when boost was like 15-25 psi, drive pressure were only 2-5 psi.

Mika I just saw the videos on facebook!!

I have to say that is definitely the most amazing sounding Duramax I have ever heard! The eaton and two holsets spooling up sounds great.

your transmission sounds like its shifting very nicely too; hopefully it will hold up when you put a big tune in.

are you running higher tension on the belt to prevent it from slipping on the Eaton pulley? That might be why the power steering pump broke. Did the power steering pump snap the shaft off? PSC makes very nice aftermarket/modified power steering pumps with stronger parts. http://www.pscmotorsports.com/power-...c-138_174.html

Keep us updated

Thanks Ben.

I have new software for transmission Bob made, but I have not install it yet (my fault). This map seems to have some shifting problems, but probably new map will fix all.
I am not running any higher tension as stock, belt seems to run fine and there are not any sound or smell of slipping belt.

Power steering wheel just spins off the shaft, there were marks of earlier oil leak and so, so I cant say what was final reason. But I know shure I have to get stronger wheel/pump, and maybe get something stronger to spin second cp3 too. Time and miles will tell what I have to do.
Of course I could make separate driving for eaton, but that is not what I do next. OEM belt should be handle forces, but maybe I made bigger wheel for eaton.

Great job on the build! That truck just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to see your next video once the weather clears up and you can really get into it

Yes, but it jumps when turbos begin to work harder.

Why do superchargers have less drive pressure? Sorry for a stupid question. Is it because of less boost pressure?
