I have a 1999 K2500 Sub w/454 and considering swapping in a diesel. which ones should i consider with respect to ease of bolting in?

You'd be better off trading in and getting a 6.6L.


wiring harness and pcm and trans are all different in a diesel


if not will do do that get another 454 to put in it's place.....

Scott will a 6.6L bolt up to the 80s turbo 400?

won't come even close to bolting up....

I was primarely looking for better mileage, my 454 works great cept my mpg- 6-7 city 10-11 hwy. i love the burb but was thinking if i picked up a 6.6 with trans & t-case it would not be impossible to swap.
