Got in my truck this AM after it setting in garage all weekend : Would not turn over. Batteries "deader-n-a-hammer". Jumped it off and drove to work, thinking that I'd charge them up at work and wondering all-the-while why they were dead to begin with. (Didn't leave so as much as a cell phone charger plugged in all weekend.) Clock showed 12:00, as you'd expect.
Dropped the LW off at work and when she got out of the truck, the climate control thingy turned on all by itself (powered off since startup)... not only that but the temperature setpoints were scrolling up and down as well as the defrost, etc turning on and off. No SES light, but right then I decided to bypass work and go straight to the local stealer (not where I purchased). Explained the problem to them and they were very nice, even apologetic that it happened, and said they'd look into it.
Seemed like a short somewhere, but I don't know. Any clues? Both the climate control panel as well as the radios (front and back) were HOT. The rear radio display was putting off so much heat that I could feel it on my arm as it rested on the center console... Never noticed that before.
