I am fitting a post OEM CAT filter. I can remove the two hose clips from the hose that connects the outlet of the OEM filter to the pump inlet, but cannot slide the hose off the two nipples. I do not want to cut the hose incase I need to replace it.


Any tips as to how to slide the two ends off the nipples?

In addition to the hose pliers you could also try a little penetrating oil on the nipple where it meets the hose.
