Found out about another truck at a different dealer this morning. Called them and asked if they would honor the In the Driveway program. They did and they sold me a truck in less than 2 hours. They were fast, competent and did what they said they would. The truck is my second choice of color, but other than that everything I was after. Really liked the Silver Birch color with black trim, got Black with silver trim.

In the space of 12 hours I have gone from despondent to oh my gosh I have to make the payments.

Since I put the name of the bad dealer out there I think it is fair that I put the name of the good dealer out.

Glad you got a good deal. I talked with them about 6 months ago and they wouldn't deal with me. Apparently, it's more of a buyer's market now. They lowballed me on my truck (surprise, surprise) and wouldn't discount the one I was looking at. Maybe I should go back there. Who was your salesman? Maybe I need to talk to him/her.

By the way, we're practically neighbors. Do you live anywhere near Shenandoah Farms? (Route 638) I used to live at the corner of 638 and Rt 50 right on the Shenandoah.

Thanks everyone, owned an old diesel for years it is an 86 Ford 6.9 pre-turbo. Man these new trucks are nice.

I live over near Warrenton, about 30-35 miles from Front Royal. Sales person was Kendra Hutman. Very nice lady, they have a bunch of trucks on the lot right now, but only a few diesels and they are all pretty high end.
