1st: I went looking for a chiltons on my truck and was unsuccesful. Does chiltons produce a service manual for the 04.5 LLY yet? If so or if not, does anyone know how or where I can purchase a service manual for my Maxy?

2nd: I have located my tranny filter(red) and my oil filter(black) but there is another filter on the passenger side of the engine(white) which filter is this, fuel I imagine. Anyway they are all stock filters which is why I specify the colors. Am I right in thinking this white filter is the fuel filter?
Pretty soon I want to instal a Nicktane.

1st; As far as I know, there are no service manuals available for your truck since GM has not released the info. I did see one post that they were available on CD for $300.00, but that's more than I'm willing to pay. So I didn't pursue that option and don't know if they are available for that price.


The white filter is indeed a fuel filter. If/when you decide to change them, if you have an LLY, the filter is 3/4 inch longer than the LB7. The LB7 filter will fit the LLY, but not vice versa. The fuel filters for the LLY are only available from the stealers last I heard, and were in short supply at that.
