I must have read thousands of old threads but am still confused about several things...... sry if these are stupid throw all the crap at me u wanna.

I am concidering buying the six gun bundle with the pda and duels directly from banks for my dury

My question is how easy and what do u have to do to take the chip out for warranty work/oil changes/tire rotations/etc. What else would need to be taken off(PDA)?

from my understanding a chip DOES NOT mess with your onboard computer and a programer does and i assume that the six gun is a chip. banks also states that their chip does in no way affect the onboard electronics.

also making sure that the banks DOES NOT calibrate for spedo for bigger tires and wondering what i would need to do when i go to a lift and bigger tires l8r on

im just looking for some power but dont want to deal with the codes and such that go with the programers and have heard rumors of blowing up the onboard computers and stuff..... if n e one would mind explaining this to me it would be grealty appreciated

sry one more question would a ''learning period'' for the trany also be needed with this set up

with the banks kit you are not going to hurt your engine i have one and it works great. no it does not reclibrate the speedo the PDA show correct speed but you have to look at the PDA. unless it is brand new truck no there won't be any learning period it is easy to take off you can pm me if you need anything else or email me
