How many miles do you guys put on your trucks before you put a programmer. I have a Triple dog, but was going to wait to get the truck broken in a little. Thanks.

There should be no reason you can't install a tuner right away.It will not affect the way your engine breaks in.YOU affect the way your engine breaks in.

I planned on putting 5000 miles on mine, so that I could get first oil, fuel and tranny filter change out of the way, not to mention getting everything broke in and any minor warranty issues out of the way.

I had 22k miles on it before a product came out that I felt comfortable with (Predator)

Oh well, I have a feeling the the LMM guys will have to wait even longer

:agreed: I have around 3K and just installed my Edge box but would have done it sooner if it had been available.

I waited until I had 500 miles or it was pretty close to that :D

just rolled 20,000 put on the triple dog yesterday

i had all my mods done by 2000 miles and havent had any problems yet.

Chipped the truck at 800km (Bully Dog Power Pup 69hp), put 4" dual exhaust at 5500km no cat. I watch oil consumption, but so far so good.

I would at least drive it home from the dealership before plugging it in. ;)
