Sorry in advance fro a few stupid questions

Do these trucks have a wait to start light? Cause I havnt seen it come on yet.
I remember the spec said it has a block heater but I can find the plug. My fords all had them right under the front bumper.

The glow plug light looks like a spring but you will not see it come on long. Mostly for me it is the first start of the day and then for only a second. Lots of improvments as far as glow plugs go.

As for the block heater cord, check near the fuel filter (pasenger side). Usually wrapped up there somewhere.

Take care~

If you remove the plastic undercover on the passenger side ,you will see it pluged in the engine block in line with the water jackets

The block heater cord on my 06' GMC 2500HD was located on the passenger side zip tied to a wiring harness that was running up against the inner wheel well. The block heater is in the passenger front freeze plug hole with some aluminum foil looking shielding over the wiring. Use a drop light or flashlight to look, it was hidden well!

I had to take off the wheel and the wheel well to get sufficient access for my cable. Not only was it hidden within the main engine harness, but the guy who built this motor took the liberty of taping it up also. I've never seen it like that on another DMax before... maybe the boss was standing over his shoulder ):h??
