I am not 100% sure but I think you have to own a GM vehicle or owned one in the past.

You have to be a current owner or lease. $4000 off on 2500 or 3500 HD's. Just got off the phone

Could i buy a used GM vehicle and qualify for the $ 4000 rebate ? Do you have to own one at time of delivery or when you ordered the truck ?

What they told me is you have to be a current owner and its for new 2003 or 2004 models. Hard to beleive that someone would still have and 2003 on the lot.

The salesman told me alls you need to qualify for the $4000.00 loyalty rebate, is your owners card for the GM you currently own, show it to the salesman and you get the rebate, simple as that, I also would image that the name on the owners card would need to be the same person who's buying the new vehicle.

I think another name would be, Registration Card.

Is the $4000 on top of any other rebates and discounts or is that the total off of the best deal you can get?

Thanks! I'll hang up and listenhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

Any idea whether the loyalty discount would apply to an 05 2500HD purchased through an order? I've no idea when an 05 would be delivered!

Thanks

When you order, you take your chances since only the incentives in effect at the time of delivery apply.

You typically see better incentives as you get closer to the end of the model year, and vice versa, the least attractive are usually found at the introduction of the new model year.

Considering past history, one might suppose there will be some sort of incentive on a new '05, but who knows?

If you take delivery before or on 08/02/04 then the rebate will apply.

At the beginning of the last model year i think the rebates started out at 1000, now 4000 for the loyalty rebate. id be surprised to see any 05s before 08/02 but who knows

Even if one did happen to show up by then which I think is VERY unlikely, GM never used to release the MSRP, sticker, or even dealer invoice until the new model release date.

Don't know if they still do that, but without an MSRP you can't get one licensed and without the dealer having an invoice, it still belongs to GM and he can't sell it...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Maybe someone who's still in the business could clarify that one. The other part is the offer I got from GM specifically stated the above mentioned '03 and '04 model years, nothing about '05's.Edited by: Zeeb
