I have a friend who needs help. He owns a 1999 Dodge 1/2 pick up. His PCM has gone out. I need to know if someone has a diagram or location of the PCM on his truck so he can replace it.. Any help would be greatly apreciated..

Passenger side firewall in the engine compartment, silver box. What makes him think it has failed? Crank sensors are notorious for failure on chrysler products and they can short the PCM's 5 volt refernce and cause the test to come up as a failed PCM when it is really just a crank sensor that has failed. You will also need some sort of scanner to(prefferably a DRB3) to program the VIN and milage into the new PCM.
