My boss is trying to replace his on his 8.1L, can anyone tell me where it is on the block?

Just did mine on my truck. It is located on the left side just below the head. It is right up against the bell housing. It has one nut that a 10mm socket will remove. There are some fuel lines that run within an inch of the sensor.
