First question is anyone going to be there. The date is Sept. 9th. They have drag racing and pulling. I'm going to be doing both. Now for the drag race, it is only a 200 ft. drag so would I be okay running the 120 tune predator with a stock tranny. Not sure, but doubt if I would get over 3rd or 4th gear.

200 feet?!
3rd gear, that's it.
Lower your torsion bars so you don't f-up your front end.

I'll be there...
Last time I was there it was 300 foot pulls. Check out my video's on www.myspace.com/mazdamartinb4k I will be adding more including a 2006 Dmax Dually that pulled there.
Either way, whatever the distance is... there wasn't a full pull when I was there last time in early summer.
Do you have a tow tune for your predator? I'm not familiar with D-max's but I know the highest hP often is NOT the best option when pulling. You always risk blowin' your tranny but for the few seconds it's under the load I wouldn't look at your gauges lol. I also do not know alot about the IFS front end but the torsion bar thing sounds like a good idea.
If ya'll wanna ride up together, meet there, cook out whatever you can hit me up 443 553 9234. My friend witha dodge is riding up with me and I'm trying to get a few people from cumminsforum.com to go.

keep the 120 tune and u could try locking out your overdrive for the races. don't forget the tow haul button should be on.

HI HP is the only option :ro)
don't bring a water pistol to a gun fight
The tranny will take a lot more than that predator, you're in lowrange.

Only the side by side drag racing is 200 ft. The sled pulling is a normal 300 ft. track, and they also have back to back truck pulling. You can check it out at www.buckmotorsports.com (http://www.buckmotorsports.com)
Ill be there.
