There is software and hardware that plugs into the duramax port??? and into your laptop computer, allowing you to access every sensor value and output reading while driving, giving a true dynamic analisis of the trucks performance.

anyone out there using such software??? if so who's ???

would appreciate any input

You can purchase the Tech II but you do not have to pay $3800 for them. There is a guy here in Houston that can get them alot cheaper than that. I will see if I can get in touch with him and found out what he sells them for. But I know that it is a lot less than that.

thanks for the replies

This software should cost about $350 with the interface board. Also the software is a 3rd party product and has nothing to do with GM other than it works on their cars and trucks, you do require your own laptop.

It might hurt to get it "analized". Better to get it analyzed.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

I tried this, but it didn't show half the data I was looking for on my 2003.

I tried http://www.carcode.com, but it didn't show very much data either. Reading/resetting codes is about all it's good for...

I guess Predator or Tech2 are the only good choices out therehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif
