Thanks for all of the information provided on this forum. Helped me make the decision to get the d/a. Bought the pickup June 13th and have already put 7500 miles on it. Fuel mileage has steadily improved as described in posts on this forum. Best tank has been 19.5.

Occasionally I have experienced significant engine noise on the first morning start, not sure but it seems to be the fan. This doesn’t make sense because the engine will be cool at this time. The noise stops after about a half mile of driving. Anyone experience or understand this?

It's more than likly the fan. Sounds like a jet taking off.
