Had to do an emergency fuel filter change. The only place open at that time of night was an auto zone in central Idaho. The filter fixed my problem but it looked remarkably different than the GM one I took off. It might even have a plastic casing. Are these filters a dual element like the GM filters? Would you change it out at the first chance with a OE filter or let it run its course?

All of our fuel filters are made by Racor no matter the brand, so unless you got an older one that isn't a dual element its not the right one.
