Has anyone noticed a very different torsion bar key adjustment from one side to the other on their 2500HD? I was under the truck the other day and noticed a very large difference in the amount of bolt sticking down on each side. Has anyone thought up an easy way (or difficult, I guess) to check and make sure that there is equal down pressure on each side in the front. I've thought of measuring bumper heights (easy, but possibly inconclusive) or maybe scaling each tire and checking that way. It's hard to find anyone with individual scales that go past 2K per tire, and even harder to borrow them for the weekend...

I haven't noticed any issues with cornering or wandering so I'm wondering if I should leave it alone?

Thanks,

Example: If the left is 8 turns and the right is 6 turns.

If this is the case Turning the bar won't help you make sure that each side has equal down pressure.

You would need to swap out bars until you get one with the exact rate.

You wont change the down pressure by cranking.

Just put a level on the front bumper and turn the bolts 'til it's level. If your truck already sits level, don't touch it!

With the fuel tank on one side, as well as other components (front diff and drive line), the truck isn't balanced left-to-right.

All these trucks are this way and it's nothing to worry about.
