I don't know if it was a members truck or not. Supposedly it was the mechanics personal truck, and I doubt if he is a member here. But, on "Two Guys Garage" they were doing a brake job, front and rear, and changing the spin on filter. When they changed the spin-on, guess what? The tranny was purple! They didn't say anything about it, sorry ATS, no plug for you. But none the less, it was an 02 with an ATS tranny in it.

I saw the buildup on that. Long time ago though. Was a dually?? THey put in a Edge/Attitude and air intake and a egt gauge... they took it out afterwords and were getting on it and the attitude showed transmission slippage, and the main guy mentioned that and said they would have to do something to build up the tranny. I guess they did to the tune of an entire ATS Extreme, IV, mongo.. whatever its called nowadays..):h

Yes, that is Sam Memmolo's truck. Did anyone else watching the show notice the mistake he made about what rearend the truck has in it? He kept saying it has a Dana 80 rearend but when he went to put the D80 diff cover from Mag-Hytec on it, he realized that he made a mistake and corrected himself. He ended up sending the cover back and putting the stock cover back on untill the right one shows up.
