I did not know what forum to post this in but here it goes.
I have noticed that my truck seems to act like it doesnt have the "umph" when it changes to the next higher gear. Its kinda like a small hesitation.
Nothing seems to be wrong as far as power goes while towing or just driving, its just in the shifting.
I never noticed this before I got the Edge Juice, no attitude. Is this just the Edge defueling between shifts that I've read about?
It does it in levels 1, 2, 3 in regular mode and tow/haul mode.

probably just de-fueling. I feel it on mine with the flashpaq.

My programmer defuels on shifts as well - that "hesitation" is normal and a good thing as well sonce you don't want to pound through your gears.

If the power level has changed recently it may be the trans relearning also.

if you have an attitude with your edge box you can adjust the defueling settings which may help, but it will be harder on the tranny

I think I found the problem. My alternator was going bad and it finally went today. I replace it and have driven the truck all day off and on and the hesitation is not as exagerated as it was. So I guess that the transmission was having to relearn as was everything else most of the time.
Who'd of thunk it? Oh and by the way, why does this kinda thing always happen on the weekend?

I think it just wishes it was a Manual. :cookoo:):h
