I installed a diamondeye 4" exhaust on my 06 LBZ duramax. Could this be what caused the check engine light to come on.

: 4" exhaust check engine light on The_Durm 08-23-2006, 08:34 PM More than likely its not the reason. the only way to find out is to scan it. cozad101 08-23-2006, 08:50 PM not for sure on the lbz, but the lly if you go to a full exhaust (turbo back/remove the cat) it will more than likeky throw a light. thats when the good ole fingerstick comes in handy and will elimate this prob. IF you have a clean state emissions truck you will get the light from a full exhaust. On a federal emissions truck you will get a code but no light. | ||
