I just bought a set of factory alloy wheels and found that the center caps are'nt interchangeable. Does anybody have a set for GMC, or part numbers to order them?

Thanx,

Larry

This "should be" the part # you’re looking for 15039489. Call your local dealer and they will be able to confirm that it is the correct part #.

Just don't buy them from your local dealer. They want close to $50.00 ea.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wacko.gifEdited by: WanaDmxsub

Check ebay. They are on there all the time. I bought a set for $40.

Thanx for the P/N, and ebay was the first place I checked.

Someone on here trimmed the edges of the steel wheel cap so it would work on the aluminum rims.

Yea I tried trimming the little "feet" off, but still not enough distance made to get enough threads on the plastic nuts?????http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif I sure don't wanna pay $40-50 at a dealer. Salvage yards around here are scarce on these also.

I think u need to trim the outside edge to let it go in the rim farther.

I keep thinking someone on here used a router table/fence set-up to trim it off.
