i am tottaly knew to all this and im trying not to waste all yalls time but i got a few questions about my 05 ally dury 2500Hd

I have been researching previous threads and found the following info

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ALTERATIONS AND WARRANTIES
Installations or alterations to the original equipment vehicle (or chassis) as distributed by General Motors are not covered by the General Motors New Vehicle Limited Warranty. The special body company, assembler, equipment installer, or upfitter is solely responsible for warranties on the body or equipment and any alterations (or any effect of the alterations) to any of the parts, components, systems, or assemblies installed by GM. General Motors is not responsible for the safety or quality of design features, materials, or workmanship of any alterations by such suppliers.

What i would like to knwo is if i purchase a banks siz gun bundle and have problems with other parts of the truck am i gonna get the whole run about all the problems are resulting from the performance package or if most places will honor the warranty

again sry if this is a stupid question but i am a 16 year old kid and my father will not let me put this stuff on withotu being sure it would not void my warranty

any replies would be GREATLY appreciated....... im just lookin to get my truck some punch and i really need some:help: with this

nothing will void your warranty immediatly. It must be proven that the aftermarket unit caused whatever damage. If you put a banks six gun on and a shock blows out you are fine. If you put a banks six gun on and your turbo burns up your warranty on "the turbo" could be void "if" they prove the banks six gun was at fault.

I know this is way off the topic but how does a 16 year old afford that truck let alone the upgrades you want to do to it??????

Best thing to do is remove all mods before taking the truck in for warranty. That way the dealership can't blame problems on upgrades.
