Well, have always been a chevy man but never had the diesel. Currently have a 04 2500HD with 6.0 Gas, Ext. Cab 4X4 etc. etc. We live here in the beautiful Ozarks and do a lot of camping with a 30ft, 8000lb fifth wheel.
Looking to purchase the early release 07 DuraMax with the Allison tranny. Same truck just different motor and tran. Tired of pulling the guts out of the 6.0 and getting 9mpg. (13 empty)
Anyway, looks like the forum is a good thing as I have already learned a lot.
