The demand for LBZ Finger Sticks has been overwhelming and had outpaced my production capacity. As a result, there has been a backlog on deliveries. I am very sorry for that. I would have never have thought there was such a demand for the buggers. Fully ten times what the original LLY consumption was. This new version required heavily modifying the original Finger Stick circuit boards by hand which was both time consuming and expensive till the new boards were designed, produced, and tested.

The week before last the new PCBs arrived (no more cutting traces and soldering jumpers) and I am starting to gain on the backlog. The ONLY reason Kennedy isn't sending your Blocker package is because of ME. I'm flattered that you want yours right now, really, but ear beating JK isn't going to get them to you any faster. I think John has thought of dropping them all together and I am sure Elaine wishes he would.

I didn't realize 2 emails after a week of waiting for my order to show up and then 1 phone call was earbeating.....
Unbelievable!!!

If you dont have the stuff in stock, at least note that to customers that are ordering them that they wont receive the order for 2 weeks or so.

Must be nice to have Fingers playing diplomat!

:badidea:

Fingers is the one who designed these systems in the first place. Show no dis-respect towards the engeneer  if it wasn't for him in the first place we would not have it to begin with. Obviosly there is a high demand and he is working on it. They will be in when they come in. I have always had good eperience with my finger stick. He is more than willing to help anyone and even roll up his own sleeves. Just wish he would include a warning label is all ):h Even after blood loss and mangled fingers (haha no pun) i am not even angered. Give the guy a break he is working as hard as he needs to

Nothing against Fingers!! I just think that the "vendor" could have responded to a couple emails as to an ETA without a phonecall. My Fingerstick and plate are working great! I had ordered one for a friend and maybe I seem impatient. However, I never felt anyone needed to start posting members are "earbeating".

Figers took great care of me when my first stick did not work so give the guy a break, he is doing everything that he can.

My first post here was not directed at Fingers and he knows that.

:o: He has helped me greatly in the past.

Sorry if that seemed directed at you Fingers!

With all the spam emails causing the need for filters email is become very unreliable. JMO. I'm not making excuses for JK but I have found emails go missing quite regularly.

 I can not believe the nerve of some people.

I do not know of any manufactured item that has ever been made that at one point or another get backordered. :exactly:

I called a place today to get information about some Rancho adjustable shocks and OH MY GOD, they are backordered due to demand being higher than anticipated. Well gee wiz what do you know Fingers is not alone in his production, there are other people out there that can not keep up.

Dude, just sit back and be a little bit patient with Kennedy, you are not his only customer, I am sure it takes a little time to get back topeople these days. LBZs are flying out of Dealers lots and people are buying stuff to put on them. That causes some delays. BACK OFF!!:thankyou2
Fingers is a one man show in his garage and he does not rush putting those Sticks together. I know becasue I was at his garage one evening last week when I helped him put my blocker plate and stick on my truck. I also then overstayed my welcome and watched him put a couple of those sticks together and believe me when I say that the quality control is there and he does things right the first time.:exactly:

Thanks Fingers for trying to keep up, I appreciated your help and do not let this get to you. I told you it would get like this!!!

First I'll say that I truly appreciate the business, and have no intention if discontinuing this product Simply put there's times when I just need to limit services. This is one of them. We are working on a FAQ page and I already have a Tech Tips page to help eliminate some of the call volume. I am on the phone near nonstop most days, and quite often finish a call to go on to another. Many calls hit my voice mail.

As for blocker pkg order status they ahave been in and out of stock with back orders not lasting much more than a week. If I list on BO then people seem to wait until they are in stock and we get a big flywheel effect where orders flood in until we BO again and on and on. I have noted on my site in red lettering for all to see:

"When ordered separately, we generally ship these via USPS Priority Mail for a mere $8. UPS shipping available by request in Shipping Instructions. Tracking notices are sent automatically via email when your order ships. No additional tracking detail will be provided except in the event of a missing shipment."

Simply put, I cannot be hassling Elaine to dig through paperwork to find order status for these items numerous times a day. Her PC seldom gets shut down before 11pm as it is...

Well I do understand what you are saying Flyntodd, I have been known to get impatient every now and then as well. And I do like updates. Anyway, I am sure that both Fingers and Kennedy are doing whatever possible to keep the crowds at bay, after all it is their money to be made as well.. :)

The order that was top on the list was cancelled so everyone moved up a spot...

P.S. We (Jon) think things will be back on track this week and hopefully stay there.

Thanks for the great product Fingers, quality is excellent and your product saves me a lot of hassel for less than a tank of fuel. Thank you Mr. Kennedy for giving him an avenue to provide us with it. A satisfied customer here.

Take your time guys, I'd rather wait for a great working product, Than wait for the resolution to a broken one. You guys are both top notch and I thankyou for the support you bring to the forums

Kennedy,

Hey man, I am a big box retail store manager and take heat from customers every day. Keep your quality control and cost benefit up to speed and we will all learn to wait for your product.

In this day in age, people are accustomed to getting most things real fast. However, your product just does not fall into that "most things" category.

When you get caught up, I fully intend on placing an order. Keep up the good work. BTW, didn't Bill Gates start off working in his garage?

I have to say the one dealing I had with Kennedy was top rate. I got my shocks fast and not an issue..... I will deal with him any day.. So people that are complaing about not getting emails back and stuff.. Guess what I work in IT at a hospital and we have about 2/3rds of our incoming email is SPAM!!!! So don't give anyone crap for not replying to an email...! I work day in and day out to tweak our spam filters to help cut down on what is drop by accident... You want to hear something funny.. My application status update on Grad School email was dropped today by our spam filters... Opppss!!! another change made to try and get it through.. Dang email... I think I got in.. .. Girlfriend is already accepted... Email is not the end all to communication.. Its become a pain in the butt truely...

Kennedy keep up the good work... Good vendors like your are hard to come by this day and age..

Thanks guys! In general people have been great. Some get upset when I request that they submit order online, but like I say, I can work/type, and talk at the same time, but I can't write orders without dropping the work part. That said, I greatly appreciate order placement through the web store. If I have Carol answer the phone, everybody wants Tech/Me so...

On the subject of email, I see more and more using the Earthlink Spam Blocker that rejects all mail unless approved. I've sent notes bordering on nasty when I receive these, but now I just ignore them. I figure if a guy can't add people he sends mail to the list up front...

Fingers, great product! As for Kennedy Diesel, this place is top notch!!! I had an issue with my bank card and he was VERY accomodating and we got through it and I completed my order with his assistance. This guy is very busy and does his best to help EVERYONE. Check the site over the past couple years and one thing is very obvious, John Kennedy is an absolute ASSET to this board and the advancement of our Duramax Performance. I do understand the frustration over not receiving product, but please bear with them and you will be very satisfied in the end.

Eliminates EGR DTC codes when installing a blocker plate or a free flowing exhaust system where the catalitic converter is removed.

On a side note....I ordered my stick and blocker plate from jhon and was very happy with the service and shipping time.

I ordered a blocker kit, some filters and the fumoto valve monday and got a notification the order went to ship today. Hope the kit is with the shippment but if not that is ok as I really need the filters I can wait on the blocker kit. I ordered an MBRP exhaust tuesday and I can't wait for the big brown truck to stop at my house.

Talked to John twice and he was very helpful and answered my questions. Thanks John for the advice.

All Blocker Backorders have been filled except for those ordered with Fumoto valves. We were a bit late re-ordering the Fumotos and should see them late this week or early next week. We typically hold orders until we can fill complete so if you need things broken up, drop an email and we'll break them up.
