You have loyalists of each brand then you have the ones that get fed up and change. One thing i like about this site is you guys (mods and Nick) don't worry about it. It's all good as long as nobody gets totally out of control. So far TDR is taking my post in stride. I respect them for it if it continues. DGFoster 06-02-2004, 07:14 PM Like I said over on the TDR,I agree with you Hoot,the Dodge tranny isnt even close to the Allison or the Torque Shift.I am loyal to Dodge but I know the weak points and the tranny is at the top of the list. I am the one that started that thread,and I seen it first hand the DMAX simply wiped the floor with the Dodge,granted there was some problems found on the Dodge and the dealer is replacing the turbo,but that is not the first time I seen a DMAX stock beat up on a Dodge Stock,give credit were it is due,it is ok to be brand loyal,but to be blind to the facts doesnt help the cause one bit,it Ford gets the quirks out of the 6.0 both GM and Dodge will have to work hard to catch up.
