Sounds right for a worn out, probably out of tune 6.5 feeding dual wheels.

Sounds like my truck....just got my a$$ handed to me by a 76 vette and a new cobalt - the cobalt had some kind of tune and a ractive exhaust........sounds like I need a chip and exhaust system.....:muahaha:

'76 Vette.... ...they still eat many things on the road today. Just because it's old and only has a little 350 doesn't mean it's slow.:cool:

Yeah....I had them off the line for the first 20 feet or so and then I was just a spec in their mirror.......:lol: ......my wife was riding shotgun - I told her I need to spend some $$ on the truck in order to keep up......:D

I am looking for my 66 chevelle I used to have but had to sell a few years ago to help put myself through school.....396 SS - kind of like my truck :muahaha: .....

ah! a 396! im jealous!! i wish i had the money to keep one of those running and go through school! youll have to post pics of it. either when you had it then or when you find it...or both. buddys dad had a 454 ss chevelle back in the day...man have i heard some stories. lol.

It was a restoration project that I was in the middle of.....I never saw it running...it used to be my Dad's.....he sold it to me for $1 (my first car).....
