Bought a 2004 D/A with only 7,000 miles on it. Love the Truck, and thought it a very good deal. Was however wondering if there might be a "maintenence history" on it from the first owner. Carfax was clean, but want to know if there is more tothe story.

There won't be any maintenance info stored on GMs system. With only 7k there should only be a new trans spin on (@5k) an oil change and maybe a diff service (after the 500 mi break in). With the VIN we could see if there was any warranty work done.

Thanks GMSID. Comfortable with the machine in that it was not traded in due to maint problems. I do wonder if it is a "Gray Market" truck though which may affect my ability to obtain warranty maintenance. Working that on another posting.
