First, I put this PMD on Ebay and besides no action, I am getting all kinds of crazy questions. I guess most people don't know what a Heath PMD is. For those that know here is a link.

Second, as some of you know I am putting a Cummins in the Suburban. I have the 6.5 out and on a pallet for it's new owner. I know this is a project that may interest a few people here so I will be updating on this thread. The plan is to put a 92 Intercooled Cummins, an HX35w Turbo, a 47RE auto trans, Powerstroke intercooler, and of course a two tank vegetable oil conversion. I will post some pics of my progress tonight.

I'm watching on Ebay as my nearly new Heath PMD is selling for thirty bucks. Ouch, I just bought it for $529.

Anyway, I recently bought a Ford F700 with a 12 valve Cummins, it is a 95. It has 217,000 miles, and runs very strong. I think a well maintained Cummins will go just about forever, and I know a guy with an early model with over 600k miles. He has never done anything except change the oil, and service it. He hauls cattle and hay every week and the truck just continues to go. If the motor has been maintained, and the KDP retained it will go a long ways for you. AS far as the P-pump goes I have heard that they don't last as long as the VE models. This I am told is because engine life is related to service as well as the amount of fuel delivered to the motor. That p-pump can deliver tons more fuel than that VE pump and you can turn it up a ridiculous amount. If you don't buy that truck I would have interest in it.

Give it time. I bet your PMD will sell for over $300. If it goes over $350 that will be within the last 10 minutes of the auction;)

My theory is last minute bidding has a good chance of raising the price no matter where it is. I.E. if you are at $200 in the last few minutes the price might hit $300. If you are at $300 the last few minutes the price may hit $400.

So if you are a buyer you want to be at a low bid in case you get into a bidding frenzy.

I've got no idea if my theory works, but it's what I go by. I also think a clue for the seller is the difference between "watchers" and those who have actually bid. Most often I'll watch something for several days but only bid in the last few minutes of the auction if I can.

BTW, I'm not bidding but I may watch to see what you get for it.:cool2:

I'd put a solid bid in but with no shipping charges to Canada listed it aint gonna happen. I'm just looking for a spare for the Blazer, the remote mount and harness is a bonus.

I know another Canadian that would be interested if shipping charges were listed to Canada.

Now the rest of you guy's bugger off so i can get it cheap! :D (if i see shipping charges)

Getting it to Canada does not appear to be an issue. At the very least, bid it up to what you would pay for it.
