What is the GM flat rate time allotted to R/R an Allison on a 2002 4x4.....LB7.?????

GM warranty labor time is 7.0 hr. labor op K7000
customer pay time is 9.0hr
these times do not include tear down
this is the time just to remove and reinstall.

depends on the tech and how messy he is.I can have an allison out in about 2.5hrs and in 2.5..

i have a few short cuts, i have it down to 1 hour 45 min....2 going up. i have been doing this for quite awhile too.

I haven't timed myself doing an Allison yet but I do it for what it pays. I get paid by the hour.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif But last thursday I R&Red a 4L80E in 2.3 just to show the boss I can.

With two guys proper lifts and tools it's a simple R&R ....One of the easiest I've ever done ,but the heaviest too ...
