02duramaxx 08-17-2006, 08:49 PM I buying a 2004 lb7, with a cat, and it looks like it has EGR I saw a pic of a EGR blocker plate installation and I have what looks to be the same thing, not the plate but what they are putting the blocker on, can this be??, And if I take the cat off and put on a exhaust system will i need a blocker plate and fingers stick, thanks in advance WanaDmxsub 08-17-2006, 10:08 PM Yes, you have an EGR. Kill the cat, you will not have any problems or codes. No one makes a finger stick IIRC for our trucks. But Fingers did post a wire diagram if someone wanted to make one. He said it should work but didn't have a truck to test it on. Riccas 08-17-2006, 11:50 PM You could always get EFI live... or find someone with it and buy a licence. Not much more than the cost of a Blocker/Stick.
