Mine was ordered at the end of Feb and delivered 5/26 with no increase. But then again, my girlfriend's uncle owns the dealership so maybe they ate it.

So yea, between the price increase and the BS adv. fees ($428), my price went up $709! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif over what I had planned on. He hadn't mentioned the fees when we mocked up the truck to order and made the deal, and like a bonehead I forgot that BS exists. So I said, look... I'm not gonna pay the adv. fees on an ordered truck... He says the new truck number is what it is, it has to be for my purposes, what if I put another $300 into your trade? I says...I don't want to piss over this all day (the sales manager I'm talking to is my nieghbor) I've got other things to do. Done @ ~ $200 under GM supplier after the $300 more for my trade (which was a very fair $ to begin with). I'm signing the plethora of paperwork right now while I'm here, and when the truck hits, is PDI'd, and full of diesel fuel it can be courtesy delivered to my house...a plate swap and drive my '02 away. Just waiting now...Says shipped on the 20th, though I believe that was the "available to ship" date. See signature for dates, no price increase here. I walked out from ordering the truck with a signed price sheet. When I went in to pick up the truck I took the sheet with me and they didn't even bring a price increase up in the conversation.

Rippem I think you got "ripped"!!! The adv. fees should have been known before hand AND price increase after the sale, I don't think so!


Did you have this order/price in writing in hand when you left the stealership after ordering? I wouldn't have paid it and used the extra money they wanted towards an order on a 05' model from a different stealer......

It was still a good deal, don't get me wrong. We left it at "whatever it invoices for when it gets here" when I ordered the truck. I'm cool w/ that. The no disclosure/reminder of the adv. fees at that time, is the only part that bothered me... after it came up in the numbers when closing the deal. I'm not pissed about it, as he more than split it with me and this left me paying about $200 under GM Supplier price (which is supposedly minus adv. fees, but it's buried in there, thats why supplier is several hundred more than "invoice"). My dealer said all SOLD orders have price protection. the MSRP went up $300 but I paid the original price. Looks like I dodged a bullet.
