About 2 months ago I removed my CAT and got the blocker plate / fingerstick combo.

After first install I noticed a significant drop in turbo pressure. So I removed it reseated it and cracked the hell out of it.

After doing that I got the pressure back up to the 28-29 range. Not leaving well enough alone, and wanting the remaining 3lbs of boost I removed the plate, and moved the copper gasket to the firewall side, sprayed both sides of the plate down with some copper-form, reinserted, cranked away, ran the truck around town so it got nice and hot, let it cool down a bit then cranked away once more.

25lbs of boost … I’ve had 3 friends come by to help me check for leaks, and we can’t seem to find any. Is there something else I can check? Could I have jarred something else loose?

I’m going to attempt to get 2 new gaskets today. Seems like the guys down at Weir Canyon Chevy can’t seem to find em.
